According to new data, the number of Ukrainian Su-24M bombers modified by Western engineers and capable of carrying Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles has been reduced to four aircraft. The reasons for this change have not yet been revealed, but a number of sources indicate that the ranks of these aircraft have been reduced due to the work of fighter aircraft and air defense systems.

Initially, five Su-24M bombers were modified by Western specialists in order to adapt them to carry Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles. These missiles are known for their high accuracy and ability to hit targets at significant distances.

However, recent observations indicate that only four out of five such modified bombers take off. This was an indirect confirmation of the information about the loss of one of the aircraft. And although specific details of the incident are not disclosed, there is a version that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack capabilities have decreased.
